Happy July 4th

So this weekend, Steve and I went to the "Heavy Rebel Weekender" for a little bit. We walked around and gawked at all the Rock-A-Billy kids in their cool get-ups. We also looked at all the cool vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles. The best part of the whole thing was drinking Pabst Blue Ribbons and Bloody Marys while walking up and down the street.

We spent the evening of July 4th watching the Coke Zero 400. My boy, Tony Stewart, won the race in a very exciting ending. That's the beauty of NASCAR, you sit through 3 hours of pre-race interviews and 3 hours of racing for one big blow-out finish.

Sunday we spent the whole day on the couch. We watched a Hell's Kitchen marathon and napped. It was positively lovely.

Monday Steve graduates from his culinary program with the Triad Community Kitchen. Afterwards we are going to lunch and going to watch the new Transformers movie.
